How are NFL Honors Decided?

A panel of media members votes on the NFL's recognized awards, which is handed out during "NFL Honors" festivities at the Fox Theater in Atlanta in February, the eve of Super Bowl LIII.

But what if the league's top talent evaluators voted instead?

The annual early awards survey this year was completed by the most robust panel yet: high-ranking executives in personnel from 22 NFL teams, including a dozen general managers. All 22 individuals participated on the condition of anonymity for competitive reasons and to provide an honest assessment of what, in several cases, turned out to be extremely close races.

Who are the big possible winners in four critical categories?

Here's a rundown:
Most Valuable Player: Drew Brees, QB, New Orleans Saints
Defensive Player of the Year: Aaron Donald, DT, Los Angeles Rams
Offensive Rookie of the Year: Saquon Barkley, RB, New York Giants / Baker Mayfield, QB, Cleaveland Browns
Defensive Rookie of the Year: Derwin James, S, Los Angeles Chargers
Two thousand eighteen has become the year of rookies from outstanding running backs like Saquon Barkley of the New York Giants to outstanding quarterbacks in their first seasons like Patrick Mahomes.

What will the talent of two thousand twenty-one have in store for us?

With 2020 season the draft class and free agency must be anxious for the NFL season. Racial abuse has been a topic in the NFL with a demonstration started by Colin Kaepernick, where he began kneeling during the national anthem to bring awareness to this subject. The movement caused significant controversy in the NFL when others began to follow.

The game is about trying to make points bypassing, carrying, or kicking a ball into your opponent's end zone. For NFL players, it is a tough game with its jargon, including some terms that make no sense. For example, strong safety is a defender, and regular safety is a play that scores two points, go figure. But knowing the vocabulary and the players like Joe Burrow, common penalties, can take you a long way. Games played Thursday night, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday Night.

Soon you will be on Yahoo Sports or CBS Sports playing Fantasy leagues.
