Major League Baseball

About Our Major League Baseball

Major League Baseball is a professional baseball organization, the oldest of the four major professional sports leagues in the United States and Canada. Baseball history in the United States can be traced to the 19th century when amateurs played a baseball-like game by their own informal rules using the homemade equipment.

The popularity of the sport inspired the semi-pro national baseball clubs in the 1860s. The pinnacle of the game is The World Series, where the best from the National League play against the best from the American League.

Halfway through the season, you can watch the All Star game where they also have the home run derby where they crown the winner with the most home runs. Some of the best fielders on the year award gold gloves and usually will end up on the hof ballot if they get enough of them. Bryce Harper is one exceptional player.
